2025 Wrap Up

As 2025 comes to an end, we wanted to send a huge thank you to our clients, colleagues and business partners. It’s been another year of working alongside incredible people and businesses, navigating challenges together, sharing wins and, as always, learning a lot along the way.

New Faces

We welcomed four new team members, bringing experience, enthusiasm and plenty of character.

Raquel Ramos | Account Executive

Raquel joined us with 15+ years of broking experience and a real passion for people. She loves that every client brings a new story and a new perspective, and she adapts to each one with ease. She loves learning and finding common ground with people who have different backgrounds and experiences, and also takes karaoke very seriously…

Maureen Luna | Account Executive

Maureen brings 16+ years of broking experience and a genuine love for working with different clients every day. After living in the Philippines, Singapore and Perth, she now calls Sydney home. Outside of work, she’s a devoted courtside cheerleader for her kids’ basketball games, and if she wasn’t in insurance she’d be happily running a café by the beach.

Rory Thornhill | Assistant Account Executive

Originally from Orange, NSW and bringing previous broking experience to the team, Rory splits his time between our Canberra office, studying Economics at ANU and training as a professional triathlete, including representing Australia at the recent World Championships. He brings that momentum into his work and loves learning what drives our clients and their businesses.

Erin Patterson | Assistant Account Executive & Claims

Born and raised in Melbourne’s south-east and joining us with previous broking and claims experience, Erin supports both account management and claims.  She loves securing great outcomes for clients, whether it’s a fast claims turnaround or service that exceeds expectations. A devoted live-music fan, she is equally passionate about live music, with a very detailed spreadsheet tracking every concert that she’s ever been to.

Celebrating Achievements

We had a few standout achievements following on from our 2024 IA Practice of the Year win:

• We proudly took home the 2025 Insurance Business Australia award for Philanthropy and Community Service (again!), Peter won Authorised Representative of the Year and Tate was named the Young Achiever of the Year.
• Remi completed our first Graduate Program and has grown from curious newcomer to confident adviser. You can read about his journey here.
• Peter was named in the Insurance Business Australia Hot 50 List, celebrating top insurance executives and professionals across Australia

Backing Our Business Community. 

This year we continued our sponsorship of the ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards, helping shine a light on outstanding local businesses making big impacts. We were also heavily involved in the ACT Property Developer Licensing Summit, where Peter helped to unpack the new Property Developers Act and the role Latent Defects Insurance can play in reducing long-term risks. Education, collaboration and practical support were big themes for us this year.

Supporting Our Community.

We’re big believers in giving back to our community, and this year was no exception. We proudly supported and often got involved with some incredible organisations including The Chamberlain Foundation’s 10th Anniversary, Capital Arts Patrons Organisation, Eastlake Football Club, Starlight Children’s Foundation and Pegasus Riding for the Disabled.
