The bushfires and loss of lives, wildlife, homes and businesses have had a devastating impact on the mental health of those living on the NSW South Coast.
As part of Insurance Advisernet’s 24th birthday celebrations, the allinsure team nominated Lifeline South Coast as one of three bushfire, drought or flood relief charities to receive a donation from the Insurance Advisernet Foundation.
For us, Lifeline was the obvious choice for their vital work in mental health and crisis support.
Lifeline South Coast covers the area from Helensburgh NSW to the Victorian border, and as part of the national group recently launched 13 HELP, a dedicated phone line for people in bushfire affected communities.
Last week we were honoured to present a cheque for $10,000 to Lifeline South Coast on behalf of the IA Foundation to help them continue the life changing work they do. We know that now more than ever, financial support is needed to help rebuild these communities both physically and mentally.
A donation of $25 allows Lifeline to answer one call that can change someone’s life. If you would like to donate or find out more please visit their website at www.lifelinesouthcoast.org.au.
If you or someone you know is struggling, Lifeline is always there to listen on 13 11 14.
